Hubert de Givenchy was a French fashion designer who established the prestigious Givenchy fashion and fragrance brand in 1952. Renowned for crafting the majority of Audrey Hepburn's wardrobe, as well as Jackie Kennedy's, he became a celebrated figure in the fashion world.

Williams reveals that he and Jenner were friends before he started at Givenchy, so she went to Paris prior to the Met and they worked on the dress together for over 3 months.

Creative Director of Givenchy: Matthew Williams

Williams was named Givenchy's creative director in June last year, becoming the seventh individual to lead the renowned French fashion house.

Kendall arrived in a sheer gown decked out in delicate crystals with a dramatic train.
