"My Work is distinguished by continuous research, the love for arts & music, the curiosity in everything that surrounds me and a commitment to evolving." - Elenia Marzolo
-
Gianni Versace was an Italian fashion designer who founded the iconic Versace brand
-
Four months ago Kylie started looking at sketches
-
They showed Kylie first sketches and it looked more like cowgirl vibes
-
It was green and had a cowgirl hat
-
Kylie wanted to do a monochromatic look
-
She didn't change it much & was very happy with the sketches
Step 1: Sketches
Step 2: Handwork
-
Design itself is all done by hand
-
Take the sketch which is 2D into 3D
-
Process involves a lot of handwork and a lot of various different people as well
-
Work with amazing seamstresses, pattern cutters, etc. that make these pieces sculpt and fit the body so that it is like a second skin
-
Step 3: Materialization
-
Used crystal mesh material
-
The mesh effect almost just hanging over the body creates super sexy starchy gowns but with these new silhouettes
-
Dress is super sexy and allows you to have a glimpse of Kylie’s body
-
Neckline is defined by the sinuosity of the embroideries which are made up of crossing rials of crystal mesh and lavender Swarovski
-
While going down the body, they will turn into an explosion of ostrich feathers on the bottom of the dress, sleeves, and headpiece
-
Step 4: Finishing Touches
-
Kylie approves dress and says, “it looks exactly like the sketch to me”
-
Finishing touches perfected in the morning
-
Made the waist tighter
-
Tighten everything to shape her body more
-
-
Kylie kept saying, “We did that this morning”
-
In reality it was the designers and team
-
